Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Department of Commercial

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Commercial Department within the Retail/FMCG industry. This individual will provide essential administrative support, assist in day-to-day operations, and ensure the smooth functioning of the department. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Fresh graduates with strong Excel skills are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Commercial Department team, including preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for department staff.
  • Maintain filing systems (both electronic and physical) to ensure records and documentation are up to date and easily accessible.

2. Data Management & Reporting

  • Support the team in compiling and analyzing data to generate commercial reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain and update databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.

3. Project Assistance

  • Assist in organizing and tracking ongoing commercial projects, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Provide administrative support for market research and competitor analysis when needed.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure that department activities are aligned with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of documentation for audits or regulatory reviews.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply. Prior administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions/formulas) and other Microsoft Office Suite applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
