Account Assistant
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the accounts payable team by processing payments, performing AP reconciliations, and maintaining accurate filing and documentation.
2. Assist the accounts receivable team by updating daily receipts from customers, following up on outstanding invoices, and processing credit notes.
3. Generate and analyze aging reports and collection status to ensure timely payments and identify potential issues.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software, ensuring data integrity.
5. Provide administrative assistance to the accounting team as needed.
ABILITIES / KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS:
1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an Account Assistant or similar role.
2. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
3. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
4. Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
5. A team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
