Key Responsibilities Product Sourcing & Development • Identify and source trendy, high-quality apparel for ladies’ fashion. • Work closely with China suppliers to develop exclusive product designs and collections. • Conduct market research to stay ahead of fashion trends and customer preferences. Supplier & Vendor Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with China-based manufacturers and suppliers. • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQ (minimum order quantity), and delivery timelines. • Ensure all products meet quality standards and compliance requirements. • Handle any supplier-related issues, including delays, defects, and replacements. Pricing & Cost Control • Monitor material costs and production expenses to maintain competitive pricing. • Evaluate supplier quotations and ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality. • Develop pricing strategies to maximize profit margins while remaining market-competitive. Production & Order Management • Oversee order placement, tracking, and follow-up to ensure timely deliveries. • Coordinate with suppliers on sample approvals and necessary modifications. • Manage stock replenishment and ensure inventory levels meet demand. Quality Control & Compliance • Conduct product inspections to maintain quality consistency. • Ensure that all items meet required sizing, fabric, and finishing standards. • Address and resolve any quality-related issues with suppliers. Sales & Trend Analysis • Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to identify best-selling items. • Recommend product adjustments or new selections based on performance data. • Support marketing teams with product information for promotions and campaigns. Requirements • Diploma/Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Textile Design, or a related field. • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate with China suppliers. • 2+ years of experience in apparel/fashion merchandising or sourcing. • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and inventory management software. • Ability to travel to China for supplier visits and trade shows (if required). Preferred Skills • Knowledge of fabric types, garment production, and fashion retail trends. • Experience working with China-based factories and import/export processes. • Attention to detail in quality control and product selection.
