Job Title: Facility Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Facility Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and management of our facilities in Putrajaya. The ideal candidate will ensure that the facilities are operating smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and productive environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Operations: Oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of the facility, ensuring that all systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are working effectively.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repair and maintenance work. Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure services meet performance expectations.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that the facility complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including risk assessments and emergency procedures.
  • Budget Management: Manage the facility’s budget, monitor expenditures, and work towards cost-effective solutions.
  • Space Management: Coordinate space planning and allocation, ensuring the efficient use of facilities.
  • Energy Efficiency: Implement initiatives for energy conservation and sustainable facility management practices.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise a team of technicians, cleaners, and other facility staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections, providing regular updates to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or Certification in Facility Management.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a corporate or large-scale facility environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and maintenance management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage vendors and contractors.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with facility management software is a plus.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing facilities in government or corporate sectors.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in facilities management.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
