Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness in guest rooms, common areas, and workspaces. The role requires efficiency, professionalism, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms, hallways, and common areas according to company standards.
  • Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest room supplies.
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep/mop floors, dust furniture, and sanitize surfaces.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or cleaning services.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and sanitation policies.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of guest information and belongings.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with guests and staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
