Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full spectrum of the Finance Department.
  • To review management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts for the entity company to ensure the revenue, expenses, and balance sheet are accurately captured.
  • Manage processes for accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee the audit process, including providing guidance and support for the audit of the company, and all related statutory financial reports.
  • Review and monitor cash flows and capital expenditures.
  • Support the operational finance matters, supporting the development and execution of financial strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Perform monthly P&L forecasting, monitoring, highlighting, and suggesting advice including improvements when variances are expected to exceed the threshold.
  • Minimize financial risks by assessing and evaluating potential direct/indirect impacts from the variances, which may impact the company and/or its future business decisions.
  • Act as a financial advisor to the management to identify weaknesses in financial reporting across all subsidiaries and make necessary adjustments to existing processes with a view to improving the transparency and accuracy of our financial reports.
  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, annual budgets, and cash flows.
  • To undertake any other ad hoc assignments assigned from time to time.

Qualification Requirements

  • Possesses at least a Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of working experience of finance experiences.
  • Experience in Retail chain store and Audit is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills – Mandarin and English proficiency, verbally and written, is a must.
  • Accounting knowledge in ERP system is an added advantage.
  • Dynamic, self-driven, and sales results-oriented, resourceful and creative with solutions.
  • Must have a positive working attitude and able to work independently and as a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
