We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Control Executive to join our growing team at our Shah Alam Dealer Service Center.

Job Summary:

As a Quality Control Executive at CARSOME Shah Alam, you will play a vital role in upholding our quality standards and ensuring the satisfaction of our dealer partners. You will be responsible for meticulously inspecting vehicles, addressing technical issues reported by dealers, and conducting final quality checks before handover. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Assist registered dealers during car collection at the CARSOME Shah Alam Dealer Service Center.
  • Thoroughly verify and assess technical issues reported by dealers (engine, transmission, mechanical, or electrical).
  • Provide clear and well-supported justifications for dealer complaints based on your inspection findings.
  • Negotiate and discuss vehicle issues with dealers to reach satisfactory resolutions.
  • Troubleshoot and manage minor repairs for vehicles as needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive final quality inspections of vehicles before they are released to dealers.
  • Accurately document all inspections and findings in the required system (training provided).
  • Meet daily and monthly targets for the number of car inspections and reports completed.
  • Adhere to CARSOME's quality control standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Travel to dealer locations as needed (frequency may vary).

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • A strong interest and knowledge of the automotive industry is essential.
  • Candidates with experience as a mechanic, automotive technician, or quality inspector in a workshop are highly encouraged to apply.
  • We also welcome applications from fresh graduates with a Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 2 or 3 from TVET institutions or vocational schools.
  • Basic understanding of outer and inner structural damage and cosmetic issues on vehicles.
  • General awareness of car part prices and labor costs (training will be provided for specific systems).
  • A valid Malaysian driving license is mandatory.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions accurately.
  • Commitment to work and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
  • Willingness to work on public holidays and weekends if required.
