JOB PURPOSE
Responsible to oversees daily operations in a manufacturing plant. They have to ensure that the production line is running smoothly and meeting the production targets. Besides, to ensure that production meets health, sanitation, and quality standards set by the corporation, food industry, and government agencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that the quality and product that is produced in line with the company’s quality systems, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure the duties are well performed by the sub-ordinates and workers and align with the department objectives.
- Drive the implementation of Company’s Food Safety System Requirement.
- Manage and ensure equipment and tools are maintain properly and available for use when required. Carry out all production preventive maintenance programs as per schedule.
- Provide production briefing / training to the subordinates as per schedule.
- Initiative and handling disciplinary matters of subordinates.
- Alert in any suspected potential hazardous or major maintenance issue which will affect workers safety, productivity, and quality of the product.
- Lead by example and maintain good housekeeping, proper hygiene & sanitary practices to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
- Maintain, update all records and checklist regarding production or machineries.
- Provide constructive feedback does not limit to improve process and/or machine performance or develop team-member skills.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure high adherence by team members.
- Monitor supply of raw materials, components and other products for production is sufficient before production commence. Always follow the practice of FIFO or FEFO. To notify or raise requisition when forecasted or existing materials required by production is insufficient.
- Arrange sub-ordinates for overtime or any ad-hoc jobs. Assigns job correctly as per their skill ability.
- Carry out duties in complying to Company’s Food Safety System, Company’s Environment Guidelines, Company’s Health and Safety Guidelines, Company’s Policy, and Procedures, etc. by maintaining, evaluating and continuous improvement.
- Perform task and work requirements as and when required and assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Education: At least SPM or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Min 2 years' experience in FMCG industries.
- Language: Bahasa Malaysia, English
- Skills: good written, verbal and interpersonal skills, good organization and planning skills, High-Discipline, positive working attitude, can manage local/foreign worker.

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
