ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to product costing.
  • Maintain timely updates of product costs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the product costing policy.
  • Prepare operational reports, transfer pricing documents, and actual cost reports in a timely manner.
  • Generate periodic variance reports for plants and business units.
  • Monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) and collaborate with the production and technical teams.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory movement and analyzing stock discrepancies.
  • Prepare stock variance reports and oversee the stock count team.
  • Monitor monthly stock reconciliations, closing reports, and variance analyses, ensuring periodic reviews.
  • Ensure SST/SSB computations are correctly performed, reconciled, and paid on time.
  • Assist in the budget preparation for business units related to costing.
  • Perform any other related duties or ad-hoc assignments as requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least one year of working experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently, stay committed, and meet deadlines.
