About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team based in Kuala Lumpur. This role will provide strategic HR support across the APAC region, specifically in Malaysia and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to business leaders driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on IR/ER matters, labor law compliance, and employment regulations in Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Manage the employment visa and immigration processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Drive and support talent management, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives across the APAC region.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement HR policies and best practices that support business growth.
  • Support the resolution of complex employee relations issues and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams on HR strategies, employee engagement, and organizational development.
  • Partner with global and regional HR teams to implement HR projects and programs effectively.

Successful Applicant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on business partnering and IR, ER, labor law compliance, and immigration processes.
  • Regional HR experience covering Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to HR solutions.
  • Prior experience in banking or financial services is a plus, but open to other global matrix MNC industries.
