Sales/Account Manager (Diagnostic Laboratory)
Role Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to drive sales and business growth for Abbott Immunoassay, Hematology equipment, reagents, and Digital Health Solutions in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring successful implementation of Abbott’s cutting-edge diagnostic and digital health technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Abbott’s Immunoassay, Hematology and Digital Health Solutions.
Customer Management: Build strong relationships with hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare providers. Provide product guidance and ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal and Abbott teams (service, marketing, and technical support) to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and provide regular business reports to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Technology, Biotechnology, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the diagnostic laboratory, healthcare, or medical devices industry.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management, preferably with Immunoassay, Hematology, or Digital Health products.
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, diagnostic technologies, and digital health solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Willingness to travel across Malaysia for customer meetings and business development.
