Job Summary:
As a Retail Salesperson at a Golf Shop, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their golf-related needs, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of the shop. You will be expected to demonstrate a deep knowledge of golf products, assist with inventory management, and create a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and offer personalized recommendations for golf equipment, apparel, and accessories based on their preferences and experience level.

• Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of golf products, including clubs, balls, shoes, clothing, and accessories, and stay updated on the latest trends and brands.

• Sales: Actively engage with customers to drive sales, encourage upselling and cross-selling, and meet individual and store sales targets.

• Inventory Management: Assist in stock organization, maintain well-stocked shelves, monitor inventory levels, and help with receiving, checking, and labeling new shipments.

• Product Demonstrations: Provide demonstrations and explanations of products (e.g., explaining golf club features or the benefits of various types of balls) to customers, assisting them in making informed decisions.

• Customer Feedback: Listen to customer feedback and address any issues or concerns, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

• Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing, including the arrangement of products and maintaining a neat and presentable sales floor.

• Point of Sale (POS) Operation: Operate the POS system efficiently, handling transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the store manager and other sales associates to meet sales goals, share product knowledge, and ensure a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Promotions & Events: Assist in promoting store events, sales, or special offers and encourage customer participation.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a sports or golf-related environment.

• Strong interest or knowledge of golf, including an understanding of equipment and accessories.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build rapport with customers and offer tailored advice.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Basic knowledge of using POS systems and handling cash.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Lifting and carrying of golf equipment or products as needed.

• Occasional bending, reaching, and moving stock.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift

• Weekend jobs

Supplemental Pay:

• Commission pay

• Performance bonus

• Yearly bonus
