  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

Purpose / Role

To support the Market Intelligence team in the development and running of systems that contributes to The EIC’s market intelligence products.

Key aims and objectives

To provide administration support in key areas that contribute to the on-going enhancement of the quality and accuracy of The EIC’s market intelligence products.

Prime responsibilities and duties

• Maintain and improve the information contained in EICDataStream

• Deal with routine Member enquiries related to EICDataStream.

• Assist in the preparation of general information and graphical data for EIC publications.

• Attend where appropriate, and within the budget disciplines, seminars, conferences and workshops.

• Regularly review the status of the database, its functionality and information content. Propose improvements and changes to the functionality of the database system that would enhance the Market Intelligence product.

Allied occasional duties

• Assistance in the preparation of material for EIC Insight reports

• As directed, exercise other relevant duties that the department may require.

Core competencies

• Communication : Excellent verbal and written abilities.

• Team Work : As well as being highly self motivated.

• Technical : A good grasp of IT issues and functional software packages.

• Planning and organizing skills.

• Results oriented.
