Senior Manager, End User Technology
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and strategic Senior manager to lead Intune based device management platform for enterprise-wide device management, driving innovation and efficiency. As a Senior Manager the role is to collaborate across many business units to ensure seamless device provisioning, configuration, compliance, and end-to-end life cycle management of Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Managing end user related technologies supporting 18 LBUs including Windows OS build management, patching using SCCM and Intune, Hard Disk Encryption, AD GPO management, etc.
- Responsible for modern device management intune solution for 45K+ devices across AIA to simplify and centralize the device managements.
- Engineering and managing global build standards for Windows, IOS and Android across the organization, including OS config and software security using SCCM and Intune.
- Engineering and manage central app store for AIA and Microsoft applications.
- Be the focal point for incidents, problems and change within the remit.
- Ensure all AIA workstations are built and operate within AIA standard and governance framework
- Define effective management process and cycle for Windows based end user devices.
- Define and maintain effective patching mechanism inclusive of AIA computers within or outside our network.
- Leading the process to select the desktop/laptop hardware for AIA group and work with selected vendor for model change.
- Promoting collaboration among EUT and EUS groups among AIA LBUs.
- Explore the deployment of new technology into the end user technology space such as VDI, etc.
- Participates in the valuation and acceptance of deliverables and project outputs based on agreed acceptance criteria, best practices, and technology standards.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- More than 12 years of experience on end user technologies including Microsoft SCCM, Intune, GPO, workstation OS build, Windows patching, etc.
- At least 5 years’ experience as leader of regional team.
- Deep knowledge on Windows11 and Office 365, BitLocker Disk encryption.
- Deep knowledge of end user hardware (Lenovo, etc.).
- General knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Effective verbal and written communication across all levels within an organization.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
