Full-Stack Web Developer Intern (Remote)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Web Developer & Designer Intern who brings to the table both a strong sense of aesthetics and creativity, as well as a high degree of technical acumen. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in establishing our digital presence, including designing an attractive landing page for our design agency and creating a user-friendly online storefront. Additionally, you will assist with backend development tasks, such as building out our membership portal and linking our online storefront with our inventory system. You will collaborate closely with our other designers to create a visually compelling and highly functional website while also contributing to client projects under our design agency arm.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging, user-friendly websites, including our landing page and online storefront.
• Assist in backend development tasks such as membership portal setup and ERP integration.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure designs align with brand identity and business goals.
• Adapt designs to meet a wide range of styles and brand guidelines for client projects.
• Present design concepts and incorporate feedback to refine outputs.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in web design, development, and user experience.

Required Qualifications

• A strong portfolio showcasing web design and/or development projects (submission required).
• High proficiency in web development, preferably with modern frameworks such as React, Svelte, Vue, Next.js, or Astro.
• Familiar with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Proficient in backend development, API integration, and database management.
• Ability to adapt to different design styles and project requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the designer-developer interaction process.
• Experience with web development frameworks and CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and responsive design.
• Experience with designing components for drag-and-drop web page builders.
• A passion for learning and exploring new tools and approaches.
