Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Produce 3D CAD Models and Technical Drawings
  • Creation of Part Numbers / Bill of Materials to ensure all technical requirements are met (FFL MRP system - SAP).
  • Develop knowledge of FFL Products, Processes and Customer requirements, in line with applicable Industry Standards
  • Undertake Technical Reviews for various Customer Orders / Enquiries.
  • Provide Technical support in accordance with FFL specifications, Industry standards and Customer requirements
  • Assist with mechanical designs to customer requirements/specifications.
  • Use company standard procedures (ECN's etc.).
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Contributes to the development of the innovative products and processes.
  • Provide ongoing support for current engineering projects for Engineering globally

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years engineering experience. Preferably within the Oil and Gas Industry but not essential.
  • BEng or BSc minimum required.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, API, Norsok and DNV) an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience using 3D CAD preferably Solidworks
  • Experience with SAP will be an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Effective team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous and organized.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office application, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP will be an advantage.
