As part of the Spare Parts Department, you will provide extended support to the Product Competence Centers (PCCs) of Siemens Energy for Compression. You will be a key member of the regional Asia-Pacific team, responsible for preparing spare parts offers on behalf of the PCCs. In this role, you’ll accountable for a specific country and lead all communication during the proposal stage. You will also collaborate with Client Managers to perform proactive client site visits, resolve client parts needs, and find opportunities for parts sales. Additionally, you will serve as the local sales support contact for the assigned territory and offer basic technical support to clients as required.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Serve as the primary contact for spare parts requests, preparing formal bids, proposals, and quotes using SAP, while ensuring timely submission and coordination with PCCs.
  • Manage all aspects of quotes/orders, including pricing, delivery, margins, order entry, and customer complaints, while addressing Quote Response Time (QRT) issues.
  • Analyze tender requirements, assess and mitigate commercial risks (currency, payment terms, insurance, export control), and participate in customer discussions on pricing and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to create and revise drawings, use alternative materials, and ensure delivery and scheduling requirements are met.
  • Establish lead times, coordinate with planners, buyers, and manufacturing teams, and provide delivery alternatives for purchased and manufactured items.
  • Review customer purchase orders, coordinate with Order Management and SCM, and proactively follow up on opportunity status before quote validity expires.
  • Assist with client parts needs, transition lead generation to sales, and provide product/technical support, fleet performance guidance, and parts lifecycle information.
  • Achieve annual sales growth target, optimize gross profit and cash flow, and travel domestically/internationally as needed.


What You Bring

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, maintaining a professional and organized approach.
  • Strong tech-savviness with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with ERP software (Oracle, SAP, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Precision and attention to detail when working under tight timeframes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work independently with enthusiasm and commitment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach to achieving goals.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Siemens Energy’s products and services.
