The Data Center Facility Manager is accountable for the overall operation and upkeep of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems within the data center.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations, planning, maintenance, documentation, and data center (DC) operations within mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Foster a professional and ethical work environment for the facilities operations team, ensuring adherence to DC policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure service contracts and vendor relationships meet the needs of the DC’s facilities operations and align with customer objectives.
  • Lead and support staff through training, coaching, performance evaluations, and recognition of achievements.
  • Offer technical guidance on facilities management and ensure compliance with regulatory codes and standards.
  • Review and improve work processes, statements, and Method of Procedures (MOPs).
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering expert advice and assistance.
  • Maintain effective relationships with vendors and service contractors.
  • Provide leadership in project management, overseeing upgrades and managing project teams and contractors efficiently.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree holder in Mechanical, Electrical or its equivalent in an Engineering field.
  • 5 years and above of experience in Data Center Critical infrastructure management or 10 years of working experience in related field.
  • Strong knowledge in Critical Electrical and Mechanical equipment in Data Centres such as UPS, STS, Genset, CRAH/CRAC units, PDUs, Chillers, BMS and Fire Systems.
  • Ability to conduct presentations and meetings.
  • Strong aptitude and leadership skills.
