Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB) to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Monitor database performance and perform tuning to optimize queries, indexes, and overall system efficiency.
- Manage database backups, recovery plans, and disaster recovery processes.
- Troubleshoot database issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolution.
- Develop and enforce best practices for database management and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database interactions and support application deployments.
- Perform database upgrades, patching, and migrations with minimal downtime.
- Implement and manage replication, clustering, and high availability solutions across multiple database environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong expertise in database administration across MSSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
- Knowledge of MongoDB and experience with NoSQL databases.
- Excellent troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization skills.
- Strong understanding of database security practices and compliance standards.
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, SQL, etc.) for automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, Oracle DBA, MySQL Certified DBA) are a plus.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
