  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, install, test, and commission 33kV switchgear and other HV electrical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with TNB (Tenaga Nasional Berhad) regulations for gridconnected solar systems.
  • Work on Protection & Control Systems, relay settings, and SCADA integration for HV substations.
  • Specify, procure, and oversee installation of 33kV switchgear, transformers, and protection relays.
  • Conduct maintenance, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting of switchgear and associated equipment.
  • Perform load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and relay coordination studies for 33kV systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Grid Code requirements for grid-connected renewable energy projects.
  • Conduct high-voltage testing (e.g., insulation resistance, partial discharge, and high-pot testing).
  • Lead commissioning of 33kV substations, including relay coordination and functional testing.
  • Adhere to IEC 62271, IEEE, and TNB guidelines for switchgear and high-voltage equipment.
  • Implement LFI (Live Line Work) procedures, isolation plans, and emergency response measures.
  • Provide expert advice for technical challenges in HV solar installations.
  • Assist in corrective maintenance of transformers, switchgear, and related infrastructure.
  • Use Power BI dashboards to track energy consumption, solar PV system performance and grid efficiency.
  • Monitor 33kV switchgear performance, transformer loads, and fault detection trends.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (with specialization in Power Systems or High Voltage preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in 33kV switchgear, protection, and solar grid connection.
  • Familiarity with TNB interconnection processes, Grid Code, and SESB/SEB guidelines.
  • Have knowledge of AutoCAD, ETAP, or DIgSILENT for electrical system design and simulations 4o.
  • Competency certification (e.g., 33kV Chargeman or BO/BO-33kV Competency
  • Certificate from Energy Commission Suruhanjaya Tenaga is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and work under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
