CARSOME, Southeast Asia's largest integrated car e-commerce platform, is seeking a meticulous Executive, Seller Transaction to join our growing finance team in Petaling Jaya. In this role, you will be a key player in our finance operations, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of transactions related to our seller activities. You'll ensure the integrity of financial data, manage essential processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our finance department.

What You'll Do:

  • Transaction Accuracy: Meticulously review and verify transaction details provided by Operation Executives (OEs) to ensure accuracy before processing payments to sellers.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Accurately record all transaction details, maintain comprehensive records, and prepare detailed daily reports for both HQ and branch operations.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and update daily cash flow and stock listings to provide real-time financial insights.
  • Operational Finance: Manage operational petty cash disbursements and reconcile expenditures.
  • Dealer Payments: Process dealer refund payments, including compensation and repair reimbursements, with precision and timeliness.
  • Payment Assurance: Ensure all payment requests are properly approved and cleared within established timelines.
  • Transaction Issue Resolution: Collaborate with Operation Executives to investigate and resolve incomplete or rejected transaction payments.
  • Payment Tracking: Monitor daily bounced cheque reports and proactively follow up with Operation Executives to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Commission Support: Assist in the accurate processing of seller commission payments by preparing and submitting payment requests through the bank portal.
  • Funds Management: Liaise daily with the finance department to request and manage fund replenishments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other departments to address transaction-related inquiries and facilitate smooth operations.
  • Management Reporting: Compile and summarize daily transaction reports for upper management, providing valuable insights into transaction activity across Malaysia.

What You'll Bring:

  • Educational Foundation: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Open to Graduates: No prior experience is required; we welcome applications from motivated fresh graduates.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Independent Work Ethic: Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors in all tasks.
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive, responsible, and self-motivated work style with a positive attitude.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
