- Review, draft and administer contracts, subcontracts and other legal agreements in accordance with company policies and project requirements
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations. local construction laws, and industry standards
- Assist in contract negotiations and provide support in resolving disputes or claims
- Manage and track contract variations, change orders and extension of time (EOT) claims
- Monitor project milestones and contractual deliverables to ensure timely execution
- Maintain organized and up-to-date contract documentation using Aconex for efficient document control
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and legal teams to address contract-related issues
- Prepare reports, summaries and correspondence related to contract administration
- Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks and advise on appropriate action plans
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Laws, Construction Management and related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in contract administration within the construction industry in Malaysia
- Proficiency in Aconex for document control and contract management
- Experience in claims management, EOT and dispute resolution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Familiarity with Malaysian construction regulations and industry best practices
