Business Development Executive (Marine Industry)
Are you passionate about the marine industry and eager to make an impact in business development? We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing team at ENERGY WORKFORCE.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you’ll be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and driving sales success.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify New Business Opportunities: Leverage industry events, networking, and market knowledge to discover leads for Marine Inspection, Third-Party Inspection Services, and Manpower Supply.
Sales & KPI Achievement: Meet monthly and yearly sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the company’s growth and success.
Client Liaison: Collaborate with clients, leads, and internal technical and operations teams to provide updates, solutions, and technical clarifications.
Market Research: Analyze market trends, pricing, and customer needs to stay ahead in the industry and recommend business strategies.
Tender Participation: Support major tenders, participate in tender clarification meetings, and ensure all necessary documents and quotations are provided.
Contract & Lead Management: Maintain an organized database of existing contracts and leads, ensuring effective follow-ups and relationship-building.
Forecasting & Reporting: Provide bi-weekly forecasts, summaries, and updates to the management team for transparency and accountability.
Client Relationship Management: Ensure ongoing satisfaction and trust throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
Travel Flexibility: Occasional travel across Malaysia to meet clients and leads as required.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year in marketing, sales, or business development in a technical service industry.
- Preferably with sales/marketing/business development experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or marine industry.
Education:
- A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written).
- Ability to persuade, influence, and engage with senior executives and decision-makers.
- A talent for building sustainable relationships with clients and partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM software is an advantage.
- Self-driven, organized, and results-oriented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
