Responsibilities

  • Lead and assure that major HSE hazards and risks related to a logistic base for drilling operation are properly identified, evaluated, assessed and mitigated in accordance with relevant statutory, ORGANIZATION and PETRONAS requirements, and Industry Standard Practices. This includes but not limited to provision of Hazard Identification (HAZID), Safety Case, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA), Site Health Review (SHR), Emergency Procedures etc.
  • Lead and assure development, effective implementation and maintenance of HSE Management Systems (HSE-MS) that suitably meet requirements and expectations of all stakeholders and Industry Standards Practices.
  • Advise HSE Manager on the development and implementation of HSE's KPIs, HSE Objectives and Programs so that they meet the requirements of stakeholders and provide opportunity for continual improvement.
  • Assure all HSE records, data and statistics are collated, analysed and reports are generated for effective monitoring and reporting ORGANIZATION Malaysia's HSE performance to stakeholders.
  • Assure HSE active participation in project's specific contractors selection process and other necessary HSE support to manage contractors HSE aspects for safe work execution.
  • Interface with respective parties i.e. Line Management, Contractors management, ORGANIZATION HSE, PETRONAS MPM HSE, Partners, Local Government related agencies etc on matters and issues related to HSE and Security.

Requirement

  • Degree in any engineering/science/technical
  • Certification in occupational health and safety, e.g. SHO, NEBOSH
  • 5 years experience as onshore/supply base HSE functions and supports especially for drilling campaign
  • Well versed with all relevant HSE local regulatory requirements e.g. waste/schedule waste management and PETRONAS MPM requirements.
  • Familiar with marine sate operations, warehouse safe operations, material safe handling
  • Proficient in English
  • Computer literate
  • DOSH Registered SHO (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM99,999.00 per month
