As an HR Specialist, you play a pivotal role in supporting the business by executing people activities and
projects, ensuring operational excellence across various functions. Your responsibilities encompass a
wide range of HR services, including Talent Management, Industrial staffing, compensation, and
learning & development, while also extending to the development and implementation of HR policies
and procedures. Additionally, you provide crucial guidance and support to internal stakeholders and coworkers.
Your role is dynamic and multifaceted, contributing significantly to the smooth functioning
and strategic direction of the organization.Your assignment

- Support the function using the HR framework on Ikano Retail/IKEA Malaysia People Cycle activities,
- including internal stakeholders’ interventions.
- Administer time management and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) by entering and
- updating employee data and generating reports and insights to track progress.
- Support and coordinate training programs aimed to enhance performance management skills for
- managers and co-workers.
- Support and collaborate in promoting a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and skill
- development among co-workers.
- Support in promoting and safeguarding the IKEA culture by being a role model who expresses IKEA
- values in all HR and people matters.
- Generate reports provide insights to support the HR Team to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for performance improvement, and make active contributions in providing actionable
- recommendations.
- Support the HR function in different assignments, working efficiently in a matrix organization.
Qualification -
- Good understanding of the IKEA culture & values.
- Experience working in an IKEA store.
- Experience working in a unit management role in the IKEA organization with proven ability
- to be an ambassador for the IKEA values.
- Good understanding of the IKEA culture & values and experience of working in an IKEA store.
- Ability to quickly gain and apply knowledge of the local market, business, and labor
- conditions.
- A considered decision-maker with the ability to influence management colleagues.
- Ability to create a win-win situation when handling conflict situations.
- Experience as a coach and/or mentor.
- Able to work on shifts, weekends , and public holidays
- Able to work under a one-year full-time contract.
