Job Responsibilities

The Executive, Payroll is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate salary processing while maintaining statutory compliance.

  • Payroll Processing & Compliance – Maintain and update payroll data, process salaries, allowances, overtime claims, and statutory payments (EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, etc.) on time.
  • Annual Payroll Matters – Assist in preparing EA forms and managing bonus, increment, and promotion exercises.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management – Handle payroll updates for new hires, resignations, terminations, and salary adjustments. Ensure accurate profile creation, clearance form submission, and final pay release.
  • HR System & Reporting – Ensure all payroll-related changes (salary adjustments, redesignations, transfers) are reflected in the system and generate reports for management.
  • Administrative & Employee Support – Provide employment verification letters, support employee engagement activities, and coordinate with authorities on staff tax matters.
  • Ad-Hoc HR & Payroll Projects – Participate in HR initiatives, respond to payroll-related inquiries, and support analysis for decision-making.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in education.
  • Proficient in payroll systems & HRMS (SAP, InfoTech, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations & statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, tax).
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to meet payroll deadlines.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential payroll data with professionalism.
