The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and developing engaging learning materials for faculty members using instructional design principles, processes, and templates. This role also involves acting as a consultant on e-learning, providing expertise on the use of technology for teaching and learning. Additionally, the Instructional Designer provides training and coaching to staff and faculty on developing pedagogically enhanced learning materials.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and Development of Learning Solutions: Plan, analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning programs for blended and open and distance learning (ODL) modes.
  • E-Learning Content Creation: Develop learning solutions across multiple formats, including instructor-led, web-based, virtual, immersive, and blended learning environments.
  • Portal Learning Design: Work closely with portal administrators and faculty members to design, enhance online learning experience and build online courses.
  • Consultation and Training: Act as a consultant for e-learning and technology use in education. Train and coach faculty and staff on creating pedagogically enhanced learning materials.

Job Requirement

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 years’ experience in designing and developing e-learning content.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-learning rapid development tools and instructional design principles.
  • Language: Strong command of the English language.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with various learning technologies, LMS, and tools for online assessments.
  • Instructional Design Expertise: Ability to develop effective learning experiences across different delivery methods.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Experience in working with various stakeholders, including faculty members and e-learning teams.
  • User Experience Design: Knowledge of designing and developing intuitive and user-friendly
