We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage our semiconductor engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor process development, equipment engineering, and project management. This role is responsible for driving innovation, improving manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and supporting new product introduction (NPI) in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of process, equipment, product, and test engineers in semiconductor wafer processing, SMT and assembly.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee engineering projects to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and quality compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and supporting group teams to support new product development and ramp-up.
  • Provide technical direction and hands-on problem-solving in areas such as wafer processing, sawing, tap and reel, die prep, packaging, and testing.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects, yield enhancement, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Monitor and maintain engineering KPIs such as process capability, equipment uptime, and productivity.
  • Support customer audits, product qualifications, and technical reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, IATF, JEDEC) and safety protocols.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with advanced packaging technologies (e.g., flip chip, wafer bumping, TSV) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience with quality systems and regulatory standards in the semiconductor industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
