The Executive of International Office is in-charge of all matters regarding student mobility including placements and funding given to students while doing their mobility programmes overseas. He/She is to support the implementation of various collaborative mobility programmes also under the International Office portfolio.

The Executive also manages the funding mechanism for student mobility as part of the efforts to provide students with international experience and become more global-ready graduates.

In addition to operational support, the Executive is also coordinating the Partner School visits to IMU, IMU visits to Partner Schools and the organization of the Academic Council (AC).

Apart from this, the Executive plans and manages the Student Preparedness Survey, a survey conducted with all partner schools that the students articulate into, to gauge the readiness of the students transferring to the partner schools upon 6 months of enrolling there.

The portfolios under the Executive of International Office are as follows:

  • Manages applications of students going to the Mobility Partner Schools / Partner Schools for outbound mobility.
  • Manages applications for funding under the Student Mobility Programme Budget.
  • Manages application from inbound students including liaising with the Schools.
  • Act as Reporteur in the Student Mobility Programme Committee Meeting.
  • Manages correspondence with regards to the Student Preparedness Survey including follow-ups with the relevant PICs at the Partner Schools.
  • Does first cut analysis on the data received from the Student Preparedness Survey.
  • Consolidates student mobility data from each School in a quarterly manner.
  • Does reporting for Accreditation Bodies / Professional Bodies (foreign and national), SETARA, QS Ranking and Rating, and other data needed for student mobility programmes conducted at the university.
  • Helps drives Student Mobility Programmes.
  • Responsible in maintaining the Student Mobility Website and Data Input for Power BI Database.
  • Provides data for scheduled reports to the Management / Shareholders.

Job requirement:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or any field related to the job function.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with excellent presentation abilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with strong initiative and creativity.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and administrative skills, with knowledge of IT systems.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively, whether running concurrently or with varying timelines.
  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the education sector, ideally in an international context.
  • Experience working with overseas representatives.
  • Experience liaising with foreign universities on student placement matters.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
