SECURITY
QUALIFICATION / EDUCATION :
Prosess minimum Sijil Rendah Pelajaran/LCE or any other equivalent hospitality related certification.
SKILL :
Good communication skills.
Highly develop, demonstrated teamwork skills.
THE OBJECTIVE :
Responsible for securing all hotel properties, employees and guest, through CCTV monitoring, to ensure that security and safety procedures are followed. DUTIES &
RESPONSIBLITIES :
1. To assist the SO/SSO/ACSO/CSO & SM in the fields of operation of the hotel. The Senior Security Guard shall perform their duties in either one of the three (3) or two (2) shift in accordance with the duty roster prepared and post deployment by Security Manager.
2. Safe guarding the thumb print machine and ensuring that they are properly used and maintained.
3. Ensuring the staff thumb print only for his/her own. Clocking attendance on behalf of another staff constitutes an offence of cheating and should be promptly reported to the Security Officer.

4. To conduct checking of staff in preventing unauthourized persons, including staff that are off duty or found to be intoxicated from entering the hotel premises. Report to the Security Manager, if encountered. Folow up action by Security Officer as well the respective department Head or Executive Commitee.
5. Ensuring that staff displays their ID nametag before entering the hotel.
6. Issuing Visitor Pass and Contractor Pass before entering the hotel.
7. Inspect handbags / parcel and ensuring that they do not bring in cooked food or fresh foodstuff, inflammables items, playing cards, liquor or dangerous weapons. All such items to be seized as exhibits and refer to the SO/SSO/ACSO/CSO/SM
8. Attending the briefing session at the roll call parade, which shall take place fifteen (15) minutes before the commencement of each shift.
9. Receiving and recording details of all reports, complaints, request etc that are reffered to him/her for assistance. Attending to all reports, complaints and request through SO/SSO/ACSO/CSO/SM on matters requiring security attention or deal directly with the service personnel on other matters pertaining to escorts, general maintenance and assistance.
10. Recording all transactions and activities involving the department in the logbook at Fire Control Room (FCR).
11. Preventing all unauthorized persons from using the service lifts. Reporting all incidents to SO/SSO/ACSO/CSO/SM for investigation and follow up actions.
12. Keeping surveillance on human traffic to the guest floors, lobby,driveway, main entrance, staff entrance, guest/service lift etc.
13. Preventing the following items being brought to the guest floors; o All animals. o Members of public and ex-staff who have previously committed crimes against the hotel. o Any form of foodstuff (Durian and Mangosteen). o Any suspicious character of individual, unless escorted by Security Officer.
14. Attending to guest needs.
15. Maintaining peace and order in the area under Security Officer charge. 16. To carry out any other duties as may be required by the Security Manager from time to time.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
