Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily housekeeping operations at Geno Hotel, ensuring high cleanliness standards and a comfortable environment for guests. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas meet hotel standards.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
- Train and guide housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Manage housekeeping inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient usage.
- Address guest requests, complaints, and special requirements professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in scheduling and assigning tasks to housekeeping team members.
- Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department for prompt resolution.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning standards, chemicals, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
