We are looking for experienced Maintenance Compressor Technicians, specialists across every aspect of the maintenance cool room in a -20 degree room Frozen Food , responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance, which will be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility.
Depending on your maintenance strategy Cool Room (Frozen Food) and needs, technicians provide :
- Preventive maintenance: Dedicated maintenance technicians are on hand to keep your equipment operating properly. Preventive maintenance is a key part of this.
- Predictive maintenance: With predictive maintenance infrastructure in place, verify that you have the top-tier workforce to proactively monitor data and provide actionable insights.
- Storeroom management: Investing in a maintenance solution can help you realize efficiencies across the plant floor — including storeroom management, repairable parts management, and supply chain. Maintenance partners that also specialize in compressor systems, vendor and warranty management, and much more.
Duties & Responsible
- Manage the physical office/ warehouse building, including equipment, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, air-cond and related Compressor Cool Room maintenance
- Maintain and operate equipment for optimum effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain office building/ warehouse including but not limited to cold room compressor, warehouse (Air-Condition, Chiller & Freezer Temperature condition).
- Cold Room system (able to check/replace Solenoid valve, Expansion valve, replace condenser fan, digital controller setting, blower cleaning, condenser fan cleaning, refill refrigerator gas.)
- Conduct and perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform necessary repairs and replacement parts & components promptly.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with approved plans, building by-laws, and contract specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Recommend or arrange additional services like painting, repairs, renovations, and equipment replacement.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications/ Experience/ Competencies/ Skill:
- Certificate Or Diploma in Maintenance (Electrical / Electronic, Mechanical and Automation) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Maintenance and able to do basic troubleshooting of machinery.
- Problem-solving skills
- Physical ability and agility
- Ability to work independently (proactive) and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours on-call, including evenings, weekends, Add-Hoc as needed.
- Experience working in a cold room is an advantage.
- Candidate must also possess transport (Either Car or Motor - With valid license)
- Candidate with E&E / Mechatronic background would be an added advantage.
