Accountant || Semiconductor MNC Company || Pasir Gudang

Our client is a MNC Semi-conduct company which HQ at Japan, currently has setup new branches located at Pasir Gudang, looking for talented candidate to join and enhance their team.

Job Description:

• Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and interpretation of results.
• Present financial reports to HQ Team.
• Maintain and update internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Handling for Full Set of Accounts.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and compliance with tax regulations.
• Coordinate audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring timely resolution of any findings along with external audits.
• Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, VAT, etc.) in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective planning and monitoring.
• Identify areas for process improvement within the accounting function.
• Streamline workflows and implement best practices to increase efficiency.
• Lead or participate in the implementation of new accounting software or technologies.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of financial activities.
• Assist in the development of cost-saving strategies and efficiency improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, experience in assist in setup new SOP is preferable.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English, both in verbal and written, in order to have smooth conversation with colleagues and management team.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
