Catering Sales and Operation Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Catering Sales & Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end catering operations while driving sales and revenue growth. This role requires a strategic individual who can identify business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and ensure seamless execution of catering services.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase catering revenue.
- Identify potential clients, conduct outreach, and build long-term business relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability.
- Work with marketing teams to promote catering services through online and offline channels.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and track sales performance.
Client Management & Requirements Gathering
- Conduct client consultations to understand their catering needs and preferences.
- Customize catering packages based on client requirements and budget.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction from inquiry to event execution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and venues.
Operations & Execution
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of catering events.
- Work with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure food quality, menu selection, and service standards meet expectations.
- Coordinate logistics, including staffing, venue setup, and timely delivery.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
Financial & Performance Management
- Monitor sales targets, revenue, and profitability of the catering division.
- Analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitors to optimize business strategies.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in catering sales, F&B operations, or event management.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple events, and handle pressure effectively.
- Knowledge of catering logistics, food safety standards, and operational planning.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,371.17 - RM5,752.17 per month
