  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Overview:

The SRE will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical services. The role bridges development and operations by implementing strong system architecture and design principles, tracking reliability metrics (SLOs & SLIs), and reducing operational toil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement highly available and scalable system architectures.
  • Develop automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
  • Define, track, and analyze Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Indicators (SLIs).
  • Conduct post-mortem analyses after incidents and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with development and operations teams to implement best practices in reliability.
  • Troubleshoot database, network connectivity, and deployment failures (including Kubernetes & VMs).
  • Ensure issues are resolved within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of processes and incident responses.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python, Golang, Java, or similar languages.
  • Experience in system architecture and design with a focus on reliability and scalability.
  • Strong knowledge of SRE principles (SLOs, SLIs, toil reduction, incident response).
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong expertise in Linux system administration.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues.
  • Understanding of networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization.
  • Scripting/automation for system administration tasks.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms and their services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
