Position Summary:

Facility Technician is responsible for the safety and the efficiency of the maintenance operations at the Park/Hotel. You have a complete hands-on role in the department and will have an impact on internal and external guest satisfaction with your actions in terms of quality, safety and efficiency. The Facility Technician will support in all aspects of scheduled and unscheduled Maintenance within the resort. This must be done to the highest standard. You are expected to comply with the local authority requirement, Merlin operations and the safety standard. You will work closely with the team and support the maintenance activities/initiatives to achieve the department objectives.

Scope and Responsibilities:

· To support the day to day operation and maintenance of the resort by attending to all general maintenance and operation issues with specific emphasis on CCTV System, Kitchen Equipment, Plumbing System (water supply and sewerage), Fire Protection System, BMS (Building Management System), HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) System, Walkie Talkie Repeater System, Wind Speed Monitoring System, Managing Schedule Waste as well as other facilities and M&E related matters.

· To liaise, coordinate and supervise the work of all suppliers, vendors, and contractors for all related servicing, maintenance, repair and other activities assigned from time to time.

· Assist in the liaison with utilities provider such as SAJ, and etc.

· Ensure prompt repair by responding to emergency breakdown.

· Perform daily check and record the daily water consumption meter.

Background and Experience:

· Fresh graduate or minimal experience in facility M&E environment.

· Basic knowledge in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing or M&E preventive maintenance program.

· Demonstrated team work spirit.

· Ability to communicate (verbal and written).

· Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.

Education:

Certificate or Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / M&E Facility engineering.

Additional Information:

· Malaysian.

· Fully vaccinated (including Booster).

· Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends to support park/hotel operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 per month
