Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair:
- Plan, schedule, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime.
- Ensure maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Equipment Installation and Upgrades:
- Oversee the installation of new equipment and machinery.
- Plan and execute upgrades or modifications to existing systems to improve efficiency and performance.
- Technical Support and Collaboration:
- Provide technical support to the operations and production teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts and equipment servicing.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, inspections, and modifications.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to and promote company health, safety, and environmental policies during maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that all equipment is compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and tools to ensure availability when needed.
- Identify cost-effective solutions for procuring necessary materials.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Recommend improvements to equipment reliability and performance based on data analysis and feedback.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Maintenance Management, OSHA) are a plus.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related engineering field.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facility environment is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, Wire bonder or Die bonder
- Experience with PLCs, control systems, and automation is advantageous.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
