Job Scope:
1. Mechanical Installation and Setup
- Assist in the setup, assembly, and installation of mechanical systems used in food processing, such as conveyors, mixers, grinders, and packaging machines.
- Ensure all equipment is correctly aligned, calibrated, and meets the specifications for food manufacturing operations.
2. Routine Mechanical Maintenance and Inspection
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure that equipment is operating smoothly and to prevent breakdowns.
- Inspect components for wear and tear, replace parts as needed, and maintain records of maintenance activities.
3. Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues that could affect production, such as jams, leaks, or malfunctioning parts.
- Perform basic repairs and adjustments on machinery, and assist senior technicians with more complex repairs or overhauls.
4. Equipment Cleaning and Sanitation
- Carry out cleaning and sanitizing of equipment parts according to food safety protocols to prevent contamination.
- Follow hygiene procedures specific to the food industry, ensuring all tools and parts used in maintenance are clean.
5. Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance to ensure traceability.
- Adhere to documentation procedures and report any incidents or irregularities in equipment that could impact food safety.
6. Safety and Food Safety Compliance
- Follow all safety regulations related to the mechanical handling of food manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food manufacturing standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
7. Safety and Food Safety Compliance
- Work closely with senior technicians and engineers, learning best practices and industry standards.
- Observe and assist in more complex tasks to gain hands-on experience and develop mechanical skills.
8. Continuous Skill Development
- Attend training on mechanical maintenance, food safety regulations, and new technologies in the food manufacturing industry.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices for food manufacturing.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Related Fields or
- Fresh Graduates are welcome
- Able to relocate at Shah Alam
Working day:
- Able to work in shifts (Morning shift & Night shift - rotate every 2 weeks)
- 6 days working (rest day based on schedule)

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
