  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Wire Harness Production Technician is responsible for the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and machine setup of wire harnesses used in various industries such as automotive, medical devices, semiconductor & electronics. This role requires knowledge in wire harness production processes, including crimping, as well as setting up and operating related machinery. The technician will ensure the efficient, high-quality production of wire harnesses while adhering to safety standards and operational best practices.

Crimping Process:

  • Set up and operate crimping machines to ensure the proper crimping of terminals onto wires.
  • Ensure the crimping process meets the required specifications for wire gauge, terminal type, and electrical conductivity.
  • Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure optimal crimping performance and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and address any issues related to crimping machine performance, such as misfeeds or defective crimps.

Machine Setup and Operation:

  • Set up and calibrate crimping machines, wire stripping tools, and other automated equipment prior to production runs.
  • Ensure machine settings are configured to the correct specifications for each production job (e.g., wire gauge, insulation type).
  • Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and calibration on machines to ensure smooth operation and prevent downtime.
  • Assist with the troubleshooting and repair of machines when needed, in collaboration with maintenance teams.
  • System Calibration & Setup: Set up, calibrate, and optimize electrical and electronic systems to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to electrical safety regulations and company standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment to minimize downtime and enhance system longevity.
  • Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with other production team members, engineers, and supervisors to resolve issues and improve production processes.
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum qualification: SKM (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) in Electrical and Electronics or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a technician, preferably in wire harness manufacturing or similar industries.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay
