Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst 2, Financial Planning & Budgeting to join our team in Seberang Perai, Malaysia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our organization's financial planning and budgeting processes, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Perform variance analysis and identify trends to support business performance evaluation
- Quarterly standard costing setting process
- Contribute to process improvements in financial planning and analysis
- Support the development of long-term financial projections and scenarios
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques
- Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and financial reporting
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
