Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Murex Developer to join our Global Market Engineering team. This role involves end-to-end Murex development, implementation, and testing support, focusing on enhancing system performance and ensuring smooth delivery of upgrades and releases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Murex development, testing effort estimation, and test planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Murex Development: Customize and enhance Murex modules using SQL and Java.

Testing Effort Estimation: Estimate and plan testing efforts for CAB releases, system upgrades, and implementation projects.

System Implementation: Lead Murex upgrades and ensure smooth integration and performance.

Database Management: Manage and optimize Oracle databases for Murex systems.

System Support: Ensure compatibility and performance on AIX, Solaris, and open system environments.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for testing, system configurations, and processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Technical Skills:

o Hands-on experience in Murex development and customization.

o Proficiency in SQL and Java programming.

o Expertise in managing Oracle databases.

2. Testing Expertise:

o Strong experience in test effort estimation and planning.

o Familiarity with CAB releases, upgrade cycles, and implementation strategies.

3. Operating Systems:

o Proficient in AIX, Solaris, and open systems environments.

4. Experience:

o 6-9 years of relevant experience in Murex development and testing."
