
Senior Application Support
The Assistant Manager - Command Center is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the command center, ensuring optimal system performance, incident management, and efficient team coordination. This role involves proactive monitoring, timely issue resolution, and strategic leadership to support business continuity and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities :
Operations Management
- Supervise and manage command center activities, ensuring smooth 24/7 operations.
- Monitor critical systems, networks, and applications for performance, uptime, and potential issues.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness to quickly respond to incidents or system anomalies.
Incident Management
- Lead and coordinate responses to system failures, outages, or performance issues.
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of incidents in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Maintain incident logs, prepare post-incident reports, and recommend preventive measures.
SLA Management and Monitoring
- Monitor and ensure all services meet the agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Utilize monitoring tools and dashboards to oversee system performance and ensure SLA adherence in real time.
- Identify potential SLA breaches and initiate proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Team Leadership and Development
- Manage, guide, and mentor a team of analysts and operators to ensure adherence to protocols and performance standards.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team expertise in tools, processes, and technologies.
- Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth and efficiency.
Process Improvement
- Analyze operational processes and recommend improvements for greater efficiency and reliability.
- Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for command center operations.
- Implement automation and monitoring tools to optimize workflows and reduce manual efforts.
Communication and Reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during incidents and critical events.
- Provide regular updates and reports on command center performance, incidents, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with business objectives and continuity plans.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure that all command center activities comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of operational processes, incidents, and resolutions.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in monitoring tools, IT systems, and network infrastructures.
- Programming Language: Java, Java Script and etc.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
- Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate a team under high-pressure situations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder updates and reporting.
- Decision-Making: Capacity to make quick, informed decisions in dynamic environments.
- Process Orientation: Focus on optimizing processes and ensuring adherence to SOPs.
Eligibility Requirement
- This position is open to Malaysian citizens only, as our company does not hire expatriates.
