Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes and standards. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills to support our kitchen's operations.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards as directed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.

· Manage and oversee a designated section of the kitchen, such as sauces, grill, pastry, or others as assigned.

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen team members working in your section.

· Ensure all food preparation meets our quality and presentation standards.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.

· Assist in menu planning, inventory control, and ordering of supplies for your section.

· Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

· Actively participate in kitchen meetings and contribute to menu development and innovation.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience as a Demi Chef or in a similar role preferred, but not required.

· Food handler's card or willingness to obtain one.

· Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Skill and Knowledge:

· Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.

· Culinary diploma or degree preferred, but relevant experience and skills will also be considered.

· Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management.

· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.

· Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

· Commitment to food quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

· Creativity and innovation in food presentation and menu development.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,600.00 per month
