Job Title: VP, Network Operations
Division/Department: Network Operations Center (NOC) & Network Engineering / Provisioning
Reports To: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Classification / Grade: Senior Management
JOB SUMMARY
The VP, Network Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of Network Engineering, NOC Operations, and Provisioning. This role ensures the high availability, superior performance, and security of the company’s critical infrastructure, specifically in IP, Metro Ethernet, MPLS, and DWDM technologies. The VP will lead cross-functional teams, foster innovation, manage customer relationships, coordinate incident resolution, and drive continuous network enhancements.
The ideal candidate must possess fluent proficiency in the Hindi language, as communication with key stakeholders and customers necessitates this capability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee the Network Engineering, NOC Operations, and Provisioning teams, ensuring coordinated efforts and strategic alignment.
- Provide 24/7 accountability for the availability, performance, and security of network operations.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive network security, redundancy, resilience, and business continuity policies.
- Drive strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide oversight for critical incident management, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
- Develop and present strategic insights, network performance metrics, and improvement plans to executive stakeholders.
Technology Strategy & Network Engineering
- Lead strategic planning, architectural design, implementation, and optimization of the company’s IP, Metro Ethernet, MPLS, and DWDM infrastructure.
- Oversee and ensure best practices in routing, switching, network provisioning, and capacity management.
- Develop and enforce robust security protocols and compliance policies.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies and innovative solutions for network improvement and scalability.
- Coordinate closely with vendors for network deployments, upgrades, and maintenance.
Network Operations Center (NOC) & Service Assurance
- Lead and mentor the NOC team to ensure 24/7 proactive network monitoring, incident detection, and timely resolution.
- Establish and oversee effective Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes and procedures.
- Implement advanced automated monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and respond to network issues.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the NOC team.
Stakeholder & Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated network issues and critical customer incidents.
- Maintain strong relationships with key enterprise customers and ensure the network aligns with their business requirements.
- Actively manage and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment of network strategies with business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics & Communications, Computer Science/Technology, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 7-10 years experience in senior network management roles, preferably within telecommunications or ISP environments.
- Extensive knowledge and proven experience with technologies such as IP Networking, MPLS, Metro Ethernet, DWDM, VPNs, routers, switches, and network security.
- Demonstrated proficiency with network monitoring tools (BTI Systems, Nagios, Cacti, SolarWinds, Libre NMS, etc.).
- Fluent proficiency in both English and Hindi languages to facilitate effective stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver under pressure, and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
PROPOSED SALARY
- RM 8,000 to RM 10,000

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
