
Solar Engineer
- Experience in Operation and Maintenance works, specifically for solar power generation plants.
- Identifies problems and develops corrective action plans.
- Scheduling and execution of preventive & routine maintenance.
- Travel to project sites to perform all aspects of on-site installation, repair, maintenance, oversight, and modifications as per requirements.
- Provide timely written review reports from field operation, status, and constructive feedback as requested.
- Ensure that all O&M activities performed at project sites complies with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) requirements and warranties.
- Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
- To coordinate and liaise with authorities, property owners, other consultants and contractors during project implementation.
- To carry out design checks and reviews of submitted detailed and as-built electrical designs as required.
- To provide technical support, supervision and to monitor projects’ progress to ensure projects are executed correctly and timeously.
- Attendance at project design and construction meetings with others as necessary.
- To organize site inspections, and witness testing and commissioning of electrical installations.
- To prepare reports on the progress of the projects at regular intervals.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must possess a recognised Degree in Engineering
- Working experience in electrical design and/or electrical system maintenance of renewable energy projects is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams, drawings and instructions.
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written, in English.
- Goal oriented and can work with minimum supervision.
- Willing to travel and work overtime, both overseas and locally.
- Able to work well in a multi-disciplinary project team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
