Business Analyst
Job Summary:
Gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements, identifying areas for process
improvement, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
• Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
o Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and translate them into detailed requirements.
o Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather and document business needs.
o Analyze requirements to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Documentation:
o Create clear and concise documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), use cases, and process flows.
o Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring it remains up-to-date and accurately reflects business needs.
• Data Analysis:
o Perform data analysis to support business decision-making.
o Interpret data trends and patterns to provide insights and recommendations.
o Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Stakeholder Management:
o Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
o Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
o Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
o Develop and implement solutions to streamline workflows and optimize business processes.
o Work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure adoption.
• Quality Assurance:
o Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
o Participate in testing activities to validate solutions and ensure they meet business needs.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or
related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process
modeling, data modeling, and requirements elicitation.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA.
- Professional in Business Analysis are desirable.
