  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate units in Design and Multimedia Design at the School of Design and Arts.
  • The role includes contributing to curriculum development and industry collaborations.
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in multimedia production, graphic design, animation, or branding.
  • Candidates with expertise in UX/UI design, motion graphics, or emerging digital design tools will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ongoing development of curriculum and instructional material for different programs and levels.
  • Convene unit of studies and conduct learning and teaching activities including lectures, tutorials (or laboratories), and assessment of students’ learning to ensure a high standard of quality in the learning and teaching process.
  • Provision of consultation and mentoring to students.
  • Continuous development of teaching, training, and mentoring expertise.
  • Expansion and development of the various learning and teaching activities of the Faculty.
  • Development of a portfolio of activities supporting research and scholarship.
  • Supervision of honours and postgraduate (including doctoral) students.
  • Contribution to research training activities, development of research groups within the Faculty and collaborative research networks.
  • Maintenance of high academic and professional standards in all areas of activity.
  • Administration and development of the learning programs offered by the Faculty.
  • Professional engagement with business and industry, in fields relevant to the Faculty.
  • Leadership in academic and professional activities and community affairs relevant to the Faculty.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A PhD/Master’s degree in Design, Multimedia Design, Creative Media, or a related field.
  • Extensive professional experience in design and multimedia industries.
  • Strong practical knowledge of design software, digital tools, and multimedia production.
  • Experience in teaching or industry-based training in multimedia and design-related subjects.
  • Excellent academic results from pre-university level onwards.
  • Knowledge in relevant sub-areas or specialist areas.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
