Job Summary

The IT Support Administrator will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of the school's IT infrastructure. This includes managing hardware, software, network systems, and assisting with the implementation of IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a deep understanding of technology, and an ability to communicate effectively with staff and faculty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for all hardware and software issues for students, staff, and faculty.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking problems efficiently.
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, projectors, and other classroom technology.
  • Monitor and maintain the school's network infrastructure, ensuring a secure and stable environment.
  • Assist with setting up, managing, and troubleshooting wireless networks, routers, and switches.
  • Install and configure new hardware and software systems.
  • Implement and enforce new applications or policies for facilities booking or any other relevant purposes.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to staff and students on how to use school technology and software.
  • Create user guides or documentation as needed to assist in the use of specific systems or tools.
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT hardware and software assets.
  • Track and manage IT-related requests for new equipment and services.
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager/Director to identify potential improvements and upgrades in the school's technology infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications is a plus
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in Education Industry is an added advantage

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
