Marketing Executive
Role Overview
The Marketing Executive at Lane 23 will be responsible for event planning, social media management, copywriting, and email marketing to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty. This role requires a mix of creativity, digital marketing expertise, and strong storytelling skills to position Lane 23 as KL’s premier night culture destination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Planning & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Lane 23’s event calendar, including weekly themed nights (Girls’ Night Out, Techno Omakase, Hi-Energy) and special activations.
- Collaborate with DJs, performers, promoters, and partners to curate unique night culture experiences.
- Manage event logistics, including RSVPs, VIP guest lists, F&B promotions, and brand activations.
- Develop and execute pre-event marketing campaigns (social media teasers, influencer promotions).
- Capture content during events and work closely with photographers & videographers to document experiences.
- Analyze event performance, attendance, and customer engagement to improve future activations.
2. Social Media Management & Content Creation
- Manage Lane 23’s Instagram, TikTok, XHS and Facebook, ensuring consistent branding and engagement.
- Create and schedule high-quality content, including Reels, stories, carousels, and event promotions.
- Capture and post real-time content during peak hours to showcase Lane 23’s night culture atmosphere.
- Respond to DMs, engage with followers, and build an active online community.
- Identify trends in night culture and social media to keep Lane 23’s content fresh and relevant.
3. Influencer & Brand Collaborations
- Build relationships with local influencers, DJs, and nightlife personalities to amplify Lane 23’s brand presence.
- Organize influencer events, exclusive previews, and collaborations that drive foot traffic.
- Negotiate brand partnerships and cross-promotions that align with Lane 23’s positioning.
4. Paid & Organic Digital Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing targeted digital ad campaigns for events and promotions.
- Track and analyze social media performance, adjusting strategies based on insights.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives.
5. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Monitor key social media metrics (engagement rate, follower growth, reach).
- Track event success metrics (attendance, VIP bookings, social media mentions).
- Provide reports with recommendations to enhance future marketing efforts.
6. Copywriting & Brand Storytelling
- Write compelling and engaging captions, event descriptions, and marketing copy that reflect Lane 23’s voice.
- Craft persuasive promotional materials, email newsletters, and website content.
- Develop engaging copy for ads, influencer partnerships, and in-club promotions.
- Ensure a consistent brand tone of voice that aligns with Lane 23’s positioning in KL’s night culture scene.
7. Email Marketing & CRM
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns for event announcements, promotions, and exclusive offers.
- Develop engaging email content with strong subject lines and CTAs to increase open and conversion rates.
- Segment and maintain Lane 23’s customer database for personalized email marketing.
- Analyze email performance metrics and optimize future campaigns based on data insights.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Experience in marketing, night culture, or event management (preferred)
Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, email marketing, and night culture trends
Content creation skills (Reels, video editing, graphic design basics)
Ability to multitask and execute in high-pressure environments
Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
Passion for music, night culture, and creating memorable brand experiences

- Social Media Growth – Follower increase, engagement rate, content reach

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
