  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Application Support Engineer

Company background: luxury retail - Singapore listed company

Salary: MYR6000 – MYR10,000

Working location: Bangsar South, KL

Working day Mon - Fri

Working hours 9am to 6pm

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the User Application Support Lead, the Application Support Engineer will provide daily application support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Resolving technical issues and user queries via the Freshservice helpdesk.
  • Diagnosing and fixing application bugs, performing root cause analysis.
  • Supporting deployment, configuration, and updates of applications.
  • Ensuring compliance with IT policies and security best practices.
  • Documenting issues, solutions, and best practices for future reference.
  • Assisting in UAT and application enhancements.
  • Providing user training and guidance when necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, or Information Technology
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in user application support and software troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in VB6, VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, PHP, and C#.NET Core.
  • Experience with web service integration (JSON, SOAP, XML), RESTful APIs.
  • Strong SQL skills (SQL Server 2019, PostgreSQL 11, SSIS, SSRS, Crystal Reports).
  • Familiarity with scripting tools (PowerShell, VBScript) and source control (GIT, GitHub, TFS).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proactive, independent, and adaptable to business needs.

Added Advantage:

  • Experience with ITIL frameworks, OutSystem, cloud technologies (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes), and frontend frameworks (Vue.js, React, Node.js).
  • Knowledge of Accounting, Inventory Management, ERP, and Point-of-Sales systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
